Registered Kinesiologist

Kinnect to Wellness is seeking an enthusiastic and self- directed Registered Kinesiologist for part time, leading to full time, employment. At Kinnect to Wellness you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of populations that will challenge your exercise therapy, clinical assessment and program development skills.


  • Perform individual movement and functional assessments and interpret results
  • Develop and implement creative and progressive exercise programs and monitor progress of individuals seeking guidance for appropriate and safe programming to meet personal health goals and objectives
  • Implement exercise therapy treatment for individuals injured in automobile accidents, on long term disability or those participating in work conditioning programs
  • Correspond and report to auto insurance adjustors, LTD insurers and case managers to ensure a team approach when planning treatment goals
  • Communicate with treatment providers, physicians, and specialists
  • Lead and develop exercise classes offered at Kinnect to Wellness and in conjunction with community programs


  • Registered Kinesiologist in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
  • Certificate of achievement in Functional Movement Systems, Bonefit and GLA:D would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of conditions that affect movement such as neurological disease, bone and joint disorders such as osteoporosis and arthritis and progressive neuromuscular disorders
  • Knowledge of treatment protocols for metabolic disorders such as diabetes
  • A demonstrated commitment to healthy active living and a wellness focused lifestyle
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated planning and organization skills
  • Creative exercise program development
  • Demonstrated written communication skills
  • Excellent clinical observation skills
